Grace Nereid

Her height may have people underestimating her but she is a force to be reckon with. Smart, funny, loveable, but in a loveless marriage.  Married to a man she could never truly give her heart to; it’s no wonder that when Grace finds out what is going on in her marriage, her instinct is to just run away.  She’s been hurt before, but now she’s decided to take her life back, as long as nothing or no one sidetracks her.  Despite everything else going right in her life, it seems like she is always losing at love, and she just can't figure out why.

James Wooley

Jim as he likes to be called is the hottest divorced dad back in Toselle Park.  His only goal is to get a job, find his own place, take care of his girls and make acquaintances with old friends, perhaps even a petite brunette he has never been able to get over after all these years. But she's married, so he will have to settle on being friends, as long as she doesn't get too close. But when they meet up again, it seems that Grace's love life is once again falling apart.  As someone whose spouse cheated on them, he knows how it feels and makes it his mission to be there to comfort his friend, they are after all, just friends.
